      A seemingly small problem, but makes the machine useless. The upper thread tension wheel does not work, as a few other reviewers have also pointed out.       I have a brother XR-46 sewing machine, and this foot worked great with it. I also tried it on my friend's machine and it worked well with hers too. As long as you have a low-shank machine this foot will work for you. (If you take off your presser foot and there is still a long shank left in place, you have a low shank machine.)
